I remember how open and hospitable your dad was with his home when we were all young. I am very sad for you and thinking of you and your family.
Dear Mrs. Alexander and family, I will miss Mr. Alexander’s tongue ‘n cheek sense of humor at The Union Club of British Columbia.
Not to many people have a sandwich named after them. 🙂
Sincerely, Michael Hardiman
Thank you Lisa and Greg for letting us know about Trevor. We are all here together at the cottage and Steve, Andrew and I send you our love. We all had a few stories to tell about Trevor last evening. A warm hug to Anne from all of us.

Though I never met your Dad, I know that he was surely a lovely, funny man, and I know how deeply you loved him. Peace to you my friend as you celebrate his life. My love and prayers are with you all. xo
Thinking of you all at this difficult time and sending love to help you through your grief. Rex was always ready with a quick quip and a mischievous grin….you knew you were about to share a good laugh. When we lose someone we love, it seems that time stands still. May your memories give you strength and comfort.
Scott & Lisa……
We were so sorry to hear about the passing of your best friend and Dad. Although I only met “Reggie” on two or three occasions, he left me laughing in my boots! I will always remember his rapid wit and sarcasm and his great stories of his mountain adventures.
A grand life lived well!
Much love to all in this sad time…….

Sending prayers and love at this difficult time to Anne, Lisa and Scott. I remember “Mr. Alexander” fondly from my visits to his home on Houlihan. Especially the time he was putting up a Christmas tree and wanted to show me how he anchored it to keep it secure and guarantee it wouldn’t fall over – by hammering a tree spike straight into the floorboards. Years later, that still makes me laugh! He was always larger than life and my thoughts go out to the family to get through this horrible loss. With love always to you all.

I never was in a room with your Dad when I didn’t end up laughing. I’m sorry for the season of pain you are walking in… but so grateful to have known this awesome and joy-filled father to my friends…
I am so grateful that my good friend had such a wonderful father, and am so sad that she had to say goodbye. Thinking of you all as you continue through your grief.
