Born on January 22, 1970 in Victoria, BC, our dear Judy left us unexpectedly on March 4, 2022.
With tremendous sadness, yet with honour and deep love, Judy’s mother, Jean Wescott and countless treasured friends are left to reflect on the life of a brilliant, witty, kind and vibrant woman.
Judy was devastated when her Dad, Vic Wescott passed away before his time was up. As are we today, reflecting on a precious life lost too soon.
To know Judy, was to love Judy. A natural connector, she had a magical way of bringing people together, through her passion for work, sport and friendships of all kind.
We will all honour Judy in our own way. In lieu of flowers, Jean asks that you please consider giving to the Courtnall Society www.courtnallsociety.org or a charity that supports mental health wellness in your community.
Heaven gained one hell of an angel. Judy Wescott, you will always have a little gangster under your crown.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.

I’ve known Judy since I started working at McBOP in 2003. She immediately made me feel welcome and part of the team. Judy had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone in need. She was a leader and a connector, full of sass and always the life of the party. She was a loyal friend and had so many who loved her. She was a force to be reckoned with and will be dearly missed by all who knew her, especially her mom Jean. It is so sad and tragic to lose such a vibrant soul far too soon. My deepest condolences to Jean, Judy’s family and her many friends.
Jude , you will be missed my friend! My deepest condolences to her family and all her friends! You are with your dad and God now in Heaven ! We will see you one day soon my friend !
Judy reached hearts far and wide and was a leader among her peers….she will be sadly missed
Time has passed since the loss of my very good friend. It still seems not real. I expect her to come into my restaurant and tell my staff that her bill will be on my tab. Judy was never unhappy in front of anyone and she took care of everyone before herself. There was never enough time for all the people she had to see or help out. She was so supportive through over 20yrs of my nonsense. She would make me look like I was someone famous when she would introduce me to someone for the first time. I can go on and on but it just saddens me more that this is the real reason I am writing this. If the Pittsburgh Steelers ever win the Super Bowl, I will be pissed of course but very happy for the briefest of moments for Judy. When a player on the Steelers point in the sky, he will be pointing to her.
You will be missed by so many Judy. Sending my heartfelt and sincere condolences to her mom, Jean and everyone else that knew her. She was a powerhouse, full of positive energy, loving in every way, social, and yes, a connector. Anytime we were together, there was never a time that she didn’t run into someone that she knew. We became friends when we worked at McBop for many long years together, and stayed in touch over the years after I left the firm. Jude, you were an original, you had a sparkle about you, a trusted friend (thankful for that), and you had a laugh that will not be forgotten. May you rest in peace. Sending hugs your way. xo
I worked with Judy for 20 years and was very saddened to hear of her passing. Judy was a crazy loyal friend and co-worker. She was an amazing team player and always had my back. I have so many great memories of many amazing times at McBOP with Judy and I will cherish those memories from many Xmas parties, golf tournaments and even an afternoon on O”Connor’s yacht in the inner harbour so many years ago! My condolences to all of her friends (she had a lot of them) and especially, her mom, Jean.
