  3. Dear Knudson Family,

Your dear Husband and Father will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered. To us , a dear friend! Loran taught me something very valuable as I observed him over the years. That we all need a purpose in life, no matter what age we are at and what our limitations may be. He found such thoughtful ways to bless each of you and I have always thought it very sweet. He loved you all so very much! I’m going to miss hearing him say “Are you sure?” when I call and say it’s Elaine speaking. May God bless and comfort you, love Elaine

  7. Dear Papi

I am crying as I am writing this.
You were a very strong and stubborn man. Very set in his ways.
I too am like that in many ways.
Which in many ways is a good thing. It has kept me strong in life and kept me on the right path in life no matter how tough life can be at times. You were a strong and tough man that dealt with a lot of pain from various ailments and that always beat the odds and kept on living many many years beyond expections. You never said ” why me ” instead you adapted and continued on with life and did what you could to enjoy it. You loved our family very much and you were always praising your wife, my mother Teresa and so you should as Mami is a very strong and caring and good hearted woman, you did excellent in having her as your wife.
What I am most proud of you for was quitting smoking completely cold turkey when I was very very young. You did that not just for you but for your wife and children. And not once did you ever go back to that for the rest of your life. You always put us first.
And the best thing you did was help create your beautiful and intelligent and caring daughter Damaris, the person I love most in this world. You survived Cancer before and I asked God to keep you alive to see Damaris get married. You did that and walked her down the aisle and danced with her at her wedding. A moment I will always cherish and grateful to witness and love. You lived many more years to see her get married again which was equally as special. The final time I saw you alive I said I love you Pops. I only wished that I should have said that more often. I miss you Papi. Love RONY

  9. I will remember you for your courage and conviction. You always respected people for the type of person they were and their values, not their position in life. With all the health problems you had, I never heard you once say (Why me?). Your belief in a strong united family and the love you had for us is unquestioned. I always respected you for the inner strength, tenacity and courage in facing the most fierce obstacles. In most cases you overcame them or learned to adapt and make the best of the situation. For all these reasons and more, I loved you and will miss you. May we learn from your example and may your strength live in all of us.

    With love always,

    Murray

  10. For all the laughs and all the tears, you’ll be remembered through out the years.
    Your loving son.
    Loran.
