Lyle Henry Greff

January 11, 1958 – October 30, 2010
Passed away suddenly doing what he love best…hunting.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Gail; daughters, Chelsea and Kyla; parents, Joe and Betty Greff; brother, Eugene; many nieces, nephews and all the Sparling family; his little buddy, Blaze; as well as his many friends and co-workers.
Special thanks to Ward and Gina Black for being in the forest on Saturday to help.
A celebration of Lyle’s life will be held at HOPE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1924 Carrick St., on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 1:00 pm.

  1. Miss you so much Uncle, and now, may you embrace Grams in heaven. Love and miss you dearly.

  2. Gail,

My heart goes out to you and the girls during this incredibly difficult time. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

  3. Please know that my heart goes out to Gail and their family during this time of sudden and tragic loss. Although Lyle presented a gruff exterior, he was not able to mask the deep love he felt for his wife and his girls. His sense of humour and great conversation will be missed at work, and the boat ride just won’t be the same. My prayers are with you.

  4. Gail, Chelsea & Kayla,

So sorry for your sudden loss, Lyle was such a nice man and will be missed by all who knew him.
I remember when I use to come to the house years ago to cut the whole families hair, and we would all have a few laughs.
Years later we meet up at DND working, seeing Lyle driving around always friendly.
    He will be missed.

  6. Gail, Betty, Joe & family, I’m so truly sorry to hear of Lyles passing. He was a one of a kind that will truly be missed. Even though we lost touch so many years ago I know that we would have still been great friends today. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. Stay strong. Gary, Lori & girls

  7. Dear Betty, Joe, Gail and family. So very sorry to hear of Lyle’s passing. It’s never easy losing someone, but to lose someone before their time is even more difficult for the family members left behind. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love Bobbi and family.

  8. Dear Gail and Kyla,
So sorry to hear of your sudden loss – our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Although we didn’t know him that well, he always seemed to be helping at the various Guide activities and it was obviously a Greff team.

  9. Gail,
My thoughts are with you and the girls.
    Ken
