  5. To Mary’s devoted and beloved family,
Ian and I send our heartfelt sympathies to you all. We both have great memories of a woman of substance and character who served her profession, delighted in her family and always made us laugh. Mary and Fred were a great and influential team: look how they managed to uproot most of the Ottawans and transplant them to Sidney! To the kids, grand- and great grandkids we know you will miss her so much. The whole world will.
We are holding you in our thoughts and prayers.
    Love from Mary and Ian

  6. Dear Fred – our most heartfelt condolences on the loss of your beloved Mary. She was such a wonderful friend to our mom, Joyce Jacobsen, whom we lost less than a year ago. We will always be thankful that she and mom became immediate friends all those years ago when mom moved into the condominium. I know she was the light of your life as well, and we are truly saddened that she has passed on. Thankfully, you have other family close by to support you at this time and to provide continuing joy in your life. Please know that our kindest thoughts are for you at this time.

  9. Please accept my condolences on the death of your mother. I remember well the years our families shared on Parkdale ave. As a physiotherapist, I had the pleasure of working with her at the Ottawa Hospital. Her hard work resulted in a world-class rehab facility at the Heart Institute. She was a great lady and I admired her very much.
