We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our precious child, Matthew Colston Harvey. Matt’s kind loving spirit, and his unique innocent view of the world will be missed by his; mother Leah, father Dan, foster dad Tyler, step dad Jim, brothers; Eric, Ryland, Colston and all family and friends who were blessed to know him. In loving memory there will be a celebration of Matt’s life on Friday August 9th at 2:00pm, held at McCall’s Funeral home, 1400 Vancouver Street, Victoria BC. Flowers gratefully declined. I have always remembered this man (Matt Harvey) for 4 year later without him. I’m doing Okay and eating healthy again and exercising. Thanks
Matt was such an awesome young man. I met him at the bus exchange in Langford many years ago now. Matt was always really friendly and seemed like a very nice fellow. He is in a better place now, even though I didn’t get a chance to get to know him.
Hello, I first met Matt in 2009 when i was in my final year at Stelleys. He has been a very great friend to me, and we often had fun hanging out. I am very sad to hear about his passing. Matt, thank you for being my friend over the 4 years we’ve known each other, and I will defenetly miss you
Matt, thank you for coming into our family’s life, you made us smile, and laugh with your enthusiasm for the little things. I remember talking to you soon after you left Salt Spring , you shared your joy of riding buses, and how you met your girlfriend. You will be missed. Your family and friends are in our thoughts.
