Patrice was a coworker who became a friend. I admired her many talents and especially her ability to cut through most situations and get to the nitty gritty. She had a tender heart, a great sense of humour, a love of all creatures that needed defending and a zest for life that included appreciating even the small pleasures like a glass of wine on a sunny deck. I will miss her.
I am truly shocked to hear about Patrice’s passing on May 3. We went to middle and high school together and reconnected on Facebook a few years back. Patrice was always a sweet, thoughtful person, a kind caretaker of humans and animals. I do believe she is with her Dad, who she was so very proud of.
If I hear about a remembrance for Patrice, I would definitely go if I am available.
Patrice was a wonderful person and dear friend for 50 years.
She touched many people’s lives and will be missed greatly. She is among the angels and her mom and dad.
Rest in Peace..
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Patrice’s family and friends at this most difficult time.

Patrice was a HUGE influence in my life. She made me who I am today. We have known each other for approx 30 years, through horses….and she was kind enough to bring me into her world of care giving. She taught me so much. A strong woman I will always admire. Shocked and saddened.
Thank you for everything Patrice.
A very unique and gifted person. Always my go to when I needed insight into peoples characters. She had a knack of being able to brighten and lighten any situation and helped so many! So kind and caring, she will be missed !
This is very sad news. We know we will all leave this life at some point but when life ends at such a young age and so unexpectedly it is a tragic loss for all who loved her. Erik and I send you our love in this time of great loss and grief .Though we are away much of the summer please keep us informed of the Celebration of her Life” this summer and if at all possible I would very much like to attend . Love to you and yours .xojamie
I am so sorry to hear of Patrice’s passing. I worked with her and she was very good at finding job placements for my special needs students. Although I only knew her professionally, she had a very kind and caring air about her. My sincerest condolences to her family and friends. You will be missed.
Sending love to you all after hearing this sad news. Thinking of you David xx
I lived with Patrice for several years as a foster child and then continued to rent from her when I “aged out” up until she sold her farm. She had a unique approach that allowed me to stay there when other foster homes didn’t work out. I am very sad to see her go as I am sure all her other former foster children are (and of course her family and friends).
Hopefully she will be with her dad again now.
