I lived with Patrice for quite a number of years as a foster child when I was younger. Learning to ride horses and tending to the animals on the farm. She was the first foster parent I had and am always thankful for her taking care of me and teaching me the ways of the world. She will definitely be missed by a lot of people, including the many foster care kids she has had over the years including myself. May you rest in peace Patrice, you will be missed.
The news of Patrice’s sudden passing has certainly come as a shock. Although Patrice and I have not kept in touch for many years I remember fondly all the good times we shared. She was a free spirit and will be sadly missed by all who new her. My sincerest condolences to Brain, David and families
Patrice was a beautiful and intelligent spirit, I loved the way she thought. I still find it hard to think of her as being physically gone. I am so sad for her family and closest friends. I know she was a good friend. Until we meet again. Kim K.

I am so very sad to hear of Patrice’s passing. It is such a shock. I was lucky to work with Patrice at Claremont. When Patrice walked in to a room it lit up with her presence. She was like sunshine. I loved her smile and her loving suggestions not just for one student but each and everyone of them. I will miss her so much. R.I.P.
