  2. Bob had a tremendous influence on me and a number of other ball players that he coached . He not only was a teacher of the game of baseball, he was also able to build character and confidence in his players while creating team cohesion. Bob made you believe in your abilities and created a respectful atmosphere among players on his teams. The most important way that I can hope to pay tribute to Bob in my career as an educator and school administrator is to emulate, in some small way, the virtues and integrity he possessed when working with youth in our community.

My sincere condolences to the Burrows family.

  3. To the Burrows Worldwide Family.
As a member of our Br 127 Legion and knew Bob during both our government careers and our membership in the Legion I want to share my ‘sorrow for your loss’. Bob was indeed a courageous person and his manner and demeanor during the last years of his life is a testament to his work and life-ethic.
I was honoured to know such a courageous person; so mote-it-be!

  7. I don’t know where to begin to address the impact Bob, (Bapco) had on my life, but it’s not about me, it’s about one of the Greatest People I’ve ever had anything to do with in this town!

Bob was a sincere, loving, tough, yet, a gentle Man, who put others before himself and I was one that experienced that over my sports career.

He was my mentor and I looked up to him more than anyone else in sports in this town. He was my driving force to accomplish what I managed to accomplish.

Bob assisted many young atheletes in this town from behind the scenes. Typical Bob!

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Family.

You only die if your forgotten in the hearts of those you leave behind! Bob will have everlasting life in my heart!

Gone, but not forgotten, Thanks for everything Bapco, rest in peace!

    List!

  8. My condolences to the Burrows family. Although, I had never met Grandpa Bob, I know how sad it is to lose a loved one. I feel like an Aunt to Amanda, she and my niece Kim have been best friends forever. Celebrate Grandpa’s life, it was a good one.

    Sincerely, Roberta

We were saddened to hear of your father’s passing and our thoughts are with you all.

Bapco was a positive influence in my life and I will never forget his encouragement to me personally and all the players before games, and his calmness whether we won or lost.

Annie and I look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday to help celebrate and honour your father’s devoted family life.
