  3. It is with great sadness to hear of Dr. Skelly, George passing. As we reflect on years gone by George had this little special leprechaun on his shoulders and always seen to know when dangers were just around the corner for his patients. His many years of offering his service to the norther communities was so much appreciated. I always enjoyed working with him and he served my family well in providing health care to us. He always had time to stop for a short visit and always interested in how you were doing. Thank you for the many compassionate years you dedicated in Northern Manitoba. You will be sadly missed. Our deepest sympathy to Laura, three children Siobhan, Patrick, Jonathan, spouses family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now in this time of sorrow. Fondly Bernie and Garry from The Pas,Mb.

  6. So sorry to hear of Dr Skellys passing.. He was my family doctor for many years as well as working with him in The Pas. Shared many tomato plants with him, and sent him many shoeboxes of butter tarts . He was a great friend and well respected.. My deepest condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed.

  7. Our deepest condolences Laura and family. We have many, many fond memories of times spent with George both professionally and personally. Can’t recall a kinder spirited gentleman that always carried his little “angel” on his shoulder. Some of our fondest memories are of curling at the Airport Curling Club followed by a “cold one – or two” at the Clearwater Lake Hall. He will be truly missed but not forgotten.

  8. Jane and I were very saddened to learn of George’s passing.. I had known George for 56 years and felt glad that I was able to see him at our 50th reunion last year in Belfast. He was a very kind and generous person. His patients and peers loved him.

  9. Dr. Skelly was our wonderful caring family doctor in The Pas. We missed him when he retired and then went to Snow Lake. I know some people followed him there for appointments. He was truly a great man and will be missed by all who knew him. Our condolences to his family.
