I have for many years worked indirectly with Scott and it was with confidence that we knew he had his portion of the business very well under-control. i was always very impressed by Scott’s ability to find solutions to our work needs. he could figure out our cryptic requests and provide us with what we were looking for all with his subtle quiet smile.
Scott was a great person. He was always friendly and understanding when I needed help learning something new, or needed clarification. He was a great team member that always had great ambition and ideas. He will be truly missed. Lots of love and prayers to family and friends.
It was with great surprise and sadness that I learned of Scott’s death. I remember fondly the field tours and direction he provided, as a silviculture zone technician in the upper Kootenay Lake area, to a young 1st year forestry summer student.
My sincere condolences to his family and many friends.
Scott will be greatly missed………although I was just getting to know Scott better recently, he will truely be missed. I had the pleasure of working with Scott at a face to face meeting in Richmond, he added great value to our group, and was praised by many including myself. I am truely sorry for the loss of a great fellow and just wanted to express my condolences to his family at this sad time.
I actually have never met Scott in person; however, I have worked with him over the phone and through other means. When I first talked to Scott I was instantly impressed with how personable, professional and knowledgeable he was. In addition he struck me as humble person that was willing to recognize when he needed help with his work. I am quite confident that Scott is a person that I would have liked to get to know further. I understand to a degree the loss you are feeling as my best friend committed suicide last year. Therefore, it is with the utmost sympathy and respect that I offer my thoughts and prayers to you all. He was one of the good ones.
So sorry for your loss. I worked with Scott for the past few years from Nelson. Scott was a very smart and helpful man. He always had the answers to my questions. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.
You were always trying to make things run smoother and took great pride in your work. You are greatly missed.
I am so sorry for your loss. Scott was such a wonderful co-worker & friend to many of us in the BCTS family and he will be greatly missed. I worked with Scott for years on many projects and from his time in Vernon with Gay. He was always a valued participant and a key member of all of many of our working groups. At the last meeting we attended together, the whole group lovingly chanted “Hail to Scott” for the advancements he was making with our automated reporting. Personally he was one of the most pleasant and caring people I have had the pleasure of working with and getting to know. My heart is with each of you.
Scott will be missed by all of us at BCTS. I pass on my condolences over such a great loss. Fortunately, down the road we have all our great memories of him to bring out and cherish.
Scott was a great person and really great to work with. He was knowledgeable and a great resource. His laugh and dig in and get something done attitude will be remembered always. Sorry for the pain and loss you are experiencing, may time heal your wounds and you always remember the good times.
