David Scott Douglas Shoemaker, age 49 years, passed away on April 3rd, 2022, at the Victoria General Hospital, in the Intensive Care Unit, with his family at his side. Scott was predeceased by his Dad, Dave, in December, 2021, and is survived by his mother, Elaine, and his sister, Lauren.
Scott loved all animals, especially his cat Bobby, and other rescued pets, giving each a forever home. Scott was skilled, always able to fix anything at any time. Scott also had an outrageous sense of humour which knew no bounds.
We will miss Scott every day. The silence is deafening, but he lives loudly in our hearts forever.
A private family viewing was followed by cremation.

I am so very sorry to hear of Scott passing away. I have such fond childhood memories of Scott, the Smith kids, the Zala kids and many more playing baseball in your yard, kick the can on the street and being kids having fun in the neighborhood. Brother words can not explain my love for you. Some the best memories of my life are with you. From gr. 8 up until our late 20’s. Our friendship will never be matched.
