  1. Molla was such a blessing to us as next door neighbours. She was always so kind, caring and generous. We were sorry when she moved West.

Moola was a special member of our ladies neighborhood Bible study, having a steady faith and deep compassion.

Our love to all her beautiful family members. You are so fortunate to have had such a loving mother and friend.

  5. For Ole and the whole Thomassen family. Reading the Obituary brought a rush of memories of Kingston Row, sandbagging, building and rebuilding stuff. I remember ” Mrs. Thomassen” very clearly, we would not dare use a first name of a parent in those days! She was one of the very dedicated mothers who ran the house and kept all the kids safe and sound. She may be gone in body however I am sure her spirit will continue living in all those she was close to.

  6. I’m at Victoria Beach for the summer and found the notice of your mum’s passing, and wanted to send my condolences.

Your mum was such a force – I remember her patience and good humor dealing with that wonderful brood of children she raised. I’ve never forgotten the weekly loaf of bread that she let Arne bring to me – the best bread ever!! A generous gift given cheerfully. And how she’d laugh at the bunch of you, kind of shaking her head but full of love for you all.

The death of a mother has a profound effect. It leaves a void unlike any other, but I know that you’ll comfort each other in this sad time, and be comforted by the memories you have of your lovely mother.

    Fondly,
    Pat

  7. The world will not be the same without your Mom in it. Paul and I will miss her alot. It is never easy losing a parent regardless of age. Molla was a true inspiration to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Please take good care of yourselves and continue to make her proud of all of you.

    Sincerely

    Lesley and Paul Antonsen

  10. Mrs Thomassen was a very central figure in the lives of her large family. They are left with many memories of a very social and independent mother that kept remarkable contact with all 7 of her children. I wish to extend my deepest condolences to the family.
