So this is who I am
And this is all I know
And I must choose to live
For all that I can give
The spark that makes the power grow

But I will stand for one dream if I can
Symbol of my faith in who I am
    But you are my only

And I must follow on the road that lies ahead
I won’t let my heart control my head
    But you are my only

    And we don’t say goodbye
    We don’t say goodbye
And I know what I’ve got to be…

    Immortality
I make my journey through eternity
I keep the memory of you and me
    Inside

    Fulfill your destiny
    It’s there within the child
    My storm will never end
My fate is on the wind
    The king of hearts
    The joker’s wild

    We don’t say goodbye
    We don’t say goodbye
I’ll make them all remember me

Cause I have found the dream that must come true
Every ounce of me must see it through
    But you are my only

I’m sorry I don’t have the role for love to play
Hand over my heart I’ll find my way
I will make them give to me…

    Immortality
There is a vision and a fire in me
I keep the memory of you and me
    Inside

    And we don’t say goodbye
    We don’t say goodbye

In all my love for you
And what else we may do

    We don’t say goodbye…

  7. When I think of growing up on Kingston Crescent, there are some personalities that stand out. Molla Thomassen was definitely one-of-a-kind. I loved her laugh and the way everyone felt welcome around her. We all looked forward to vinetarte at Christmastime, and Mrs. Thomassen never let us down. Our whole family sends special thoughts and prayers to the Thomassen clan, and I know she and Dorris are enjoying a round of bridge up there.

  10. Dearest Norwegian Teacher Molla,
Although very sad for your departure, your latest students, Ivana & Fernando, wish You the most peaceful and blissful Journey to Heavens in the company of the Angels of Light who might now be guiding you to your new Celestial Abode.
We want you to know that it was an honour for us to have you as a teacher and as a friend at the Norway House.
We immensely value your patience, your great sense of humour, and the wonderful stories and adventures you kindly shared with us about Norway and its culture.
We really miss you, dear Molla, but trust that you are in the most loving and caring Divine Hands right now.
We sincerely thank you for your Presence in our lives. We will always treasure having had You as our very first Norwegian language teacher, a teacher whose kindness and immaculate elegance always amazed us.
