  2. Dear Mike, Peter, Pia and family,

We were all very saddened to hear of Vivi’s passing and are sorry that we were not able to attend the service. Since Vivi became a member of our family, she brightened every family gathering with her gregarious nature and enthusiastic story-telling, glowing smile and infectious laugh. She was always turned out beautifully and impeccably for every occasion.

Her love of travel, discovering new places and guiding tours certainly prompted my parents to join you and her on a variety of journeys, for which we are very grateful, as it enriched their lives and presented more opportunities for entertaining story-telling.

The care that you all provided to her over these difficult past years has been heart-warming and she certainly must have felt that love and devotion every single day.

May the warmth of her smile radiate down on all those she so dearly loved.

    Thinking of you,
Janice, Klaus, Lorenz and Victoria Vogel

  5. Mike:

We were so sad to hear that Vivi had passed away last week. Please accept our most sincere condolences to you and all of the family for your loss. While we did not see much of you or Vivi after the high school years we are very glad we had the opportunity to get together and catch up some years ago at the Canadian Scottish Cadet 50th anniversary celebration at the Bay Street Armouries. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time.

  6. Dearest Mike, I was so sorry to hear of Vivi’s passing, and wished I’d been able to make the service. I have the fondest memories of Vivi in her Hill Travel days – she was the absolute light of the office – Vivi always walked in, stayed and left with a smile on her face and a loving caring word, actually words ! , for all of us. I’m sure she is at peace now, but I can imagine she is also busy – organizing something :). Such a loss for you and the family, but such a beautiful memory to live on. All our love… Roma and Wayne

Dear Mke; I would just like to express my sincerest condolences on the loss of your Vivi. I experienced the same loss when my Joan passed away in August of 2014 and I just want you to know that I feel your pain. I valued your friendship and support during the latter part of both of our careers and just want you to know if you need to talk or a shoulder to lean on , I am here for you. The next few months will be difficult for you but with the the support of your vast network of associates and friends, you will endure.

  10. Dear Mike and all Vivi’s family,
With great sadness John and I heard of Vivi’s passing. Vivi was one of the loveliest persons to know. Her heart and soul were as beautiful as her face. And she was so much fun on our journeys with the
VFD Steamer! We will never forget those times. You are all very much in our prayers.
Very sincerely, John Shipley and Nancy.
