Wade passed suddenly (April 27th, 2011) and peacefully, in his sleep from congenital heart disease at his home. Wade was born in Winnipeg, MB, attended J.H. Bruns Collegiate and graduated from the University of Manitoba. Wade moved to Victoria, BC where he continued his studies in the environmental, computer, and accounting fields. Wade was predeceased by his loving grandparents, Samuel and Julia Gladstone, George and Pauline Anderson; loving aunties, Mary Sohor and Olga Kuxhaus; loving uncles, Ted Revak and Nick Anderson and loving cousins, Marianne and Don Primeau. Wade is survived by his parents, Ken and Joyce Anderson; his sister, Holly; his brother in law, Scott and a close circle of friends. Wade leaves a loving extended family in Winnipeg as well as many friends spread around the globe.

  1. Dear Ken and Family

So sorry to hear of your loss.

I really enjoyed golfing with Wade the 4 or 5 times I did. Awesome off the tee!

  3. I was deeply saddened to hear about Wade’s sudden passing. I went to school with Wade since grade one at Shamrock and then highschool at Bruns. I actually remember learning to play checkers in Grade 3 with him.
He had a funny sense of humour and a gentle soul.

May you find great comfort in all the wonderful memories you have of him.

You are in my thought at this difficult time.

    Lisa

  4. Ken,Joyce,Hols & Scotty – my heart goes to you during this undescribable sadness.

Whilst Wade’s sudden passing makes no sense whats so ever, the fact that Wade was a true friend to many near and far makes alot of sense. (including here in Australia).

    I will miss my mate.

    Lots of Love,

    Tony Sykes

  5. I had the privilege of working with Wade for more than two years at Island Hearing Services and we both managed to end up at the same office again. In the last few weeks we had been talking about catching up with each other over a lunch break. I am sorry that opportunity was missed and I feel a deep sense of sadness at the loss of such a positive, kind, and caring individual.

My deepest condolences to your family at this difficult time.

  6. Our hearts are sad to hear of the loss of your son, Wade. Please know that our condolences and prayers are with you and your family.

    With sympathy,

  7. My sincere condolences to family and friends of Wade. I worked in the same office as Wade, and didn’t know him very well. It has become very apparent to me from conversations I have been part of and the tone of the office that he is very sorely missed here, and that people held him in high regard. I hope you find some measure of peace and closure in tomorrow’s service.

  8. Please accept our condolences and deepest sympathy. We have nothing but fond memories of Wade going back to the day that we were married. I will always remember Wade as a sincere and honest person that had a great appreciation for his family.
I am so sorry that you have lost a son and a fine young man.

It was a very difficult day when we heard of the sudden passing of Wade. I know we did not see each other often but I do have some wonderful memories. If I go back a way, Wade was probably around 7. I can still remember playing hockey downstairs when we lived on Martindale. We new it was break time when Wade’s face got red and started sweating. He always tried so hard because most of us were 7 years plus older than him. He also did a good job hiding when it was time to go. Also remember some good times at the family golf tournament. The last time he was in town I had a short but very nice visit with him.
    Wade will be dearly missed.
On behalf of my family, our deepest sympathy.

  10. I remember Wade from the ITP Program in Victoria. He was definitely a good guy who was easy going with a great sense of humour. He will be missed. My thoughts and sympathies are with your family.
