Dr. Vandenberg was my doctor for a short time years ago. I liked her very much. She made an immediate and profound impression. I found out later, she became a widow during that time and was deeply grieving the loss of her life partner. She made a big impression on me for her kindness and professionalism. I thought of her often when I became a widow much too soon. I am sorry to hear of her passing this year. Blessings to her family and friends as they adjust to happy memories filling the void of her passing.
Very saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Van Den Berg.I had not seen Lucretia since we completed Medical School the same year . She was an accomplished student , extremely bright and well liked by all her fellow students. . She was a most kind and caring person, always with a cheerful smile and positive outlook, with a wonderful sense of humour. She would go out of her way to assist others in need. Deepest condolences to her family. RIP
I just found out about Lucretia ,,,what a loving Soul she was, my heart is so touched by this news. I will forever hold her in my arms.
I am deeply saddened to hear of Dr Van den Berg’s passing.
She is one of few with such high quality virtues and attributes.
Such a beautiful soul is she, of great character and loving kindness, a true wise and competent Being, and true Professional, whom I will dearly miss.
Much love and many Divine Blessings to you Lucretia and Family.
I am very saddened to hear of the death of Dr. Lucretia van den Berg. She was my Endocrinologist for almost 20 years and I am forever grateful for her wisdom and caring. Endocrinology must be one of the most challenging human systems to deal with as a doctor – certainly living with it when it’s malfunctioning can be incredibly difficult. Dr. van den Berg was literally a lifesaver for me when I was seriously struggling with thyroid issues. She was stern but with a wonderful sense of humour and I can still hear her say, in her deep voice: “Don’t eat sugar!!”. I will always remember the personal interactions we shared. Her caring spirit is something rare in the medical system and could never be taken for granted. I’m offering my deepest sympathy and condolences to the family.
I am so sorry to hear about Dr. Van Den Berg’s death. For many years she was my Endocrinologist, and she always had interesting information to give me. We also used to chat about non-medical stuff as I am from London, UK. I remember how the loss of her partner devastated her because she was deeply affected.
Awe I am sorry to hear about her passing. She was a great Dr, and her and I shared lots of laughs while I was her patient. She was a great help to me and always asked about my family when we saw each other. May she rest in peace
Dr. Van den Berg was my doctor for several years. Very sad to hear of her passing. She took a sincere interest in all her patients, was kind, compassionate and gave wonderful hugs! Your mother kept me up to date with what you were up to Tyler and spoke of you with motherly tenderness. May your happy memories be a comfort to you at this sad time. I believe she is with Jerry now and still watching over you.
Sincere condolences to all the family.
When I first met Dr Van Den Berg over 20 years ago she told me it was my lucky day as someone had just cancelled a specialized treatment at the hospital and I could take that appt. It was indeed my lucky day as she was a kind and trusted physician and I remained her patient until she retired.
I remember how fondly she talked of her son and had his photo in the office. We both had children living in London Uk for a time and she was so proud of him.
Tyler,
I am so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. I knew Lucretia many years ago when you were a young boy, and we had some wonderful sailing adventures together. I remember her for her intelligence, kindness and sense of humour. Condolences to you.
